Walsh Environmental has always been at the forefront of waste management software and other recycling technologies within the healthcare industry. From our original Waste Tracker “buggy” to our current Waste Tracker hand-held computer, Walsh has made tracking refuse streams in healthcare facilities safe and easy.

Walsh’s present core technology incorporates a Casio E-125 Cassiopeia pocket PC and integrated digital camera with an expert system to store visual and written records of misdirected trash or potentially dangerous disposal practices. This platform incorporates a touch screen and handwriting recognition. The digital photos are sharp and easy to work with. 

After the initial collection of data, all information is sent to a central web server. A standard Internet browser (Internet Explorer or Netscape) is used to manage, edit and deliver reports and e-mails. All data is protected and available through secure password access only.
